A lot is one record for a specific part, color, condition, quantity, and location. The same part can live in two bins without becoming an ambiguous total.

02 · what can move
Ownership is not the same as availability.
On hand describes what a record says is present. A seller may also need to account for commitments such as orders, holds, or a chosen safety reserve before treating stock as available. Brick Pulse presents those concepts for review; the exact availability calculation and hold handling must match the released product.
For collectors, separate set copies and loose parts can remain distinct records. That makes a missing piece in one set copy visible without pretending another owned copy is automatically interchangeable.
03 · trace the change
Correct the record without losing the question.
Inventory history should explain that a count changed: a receipt, a count correction, a move, or a commitment. When a physical count disagrees, review the lot and location before changing the record. This preview does not claim a particular audit workflow, marketplace synchronization, or automatic correction.
04 · take your record with you
Export what the account supports today.
Brick Pulse supports account data export where that control is available. Export formats, included fields, and limits must be checked in the released account before relying on them for a move or closure.
