What a lot can be used or sold for right now, after commitments such as order reservations, build holds, and a safety reserve are set aside from on hand. Available is not the same as on hand, and the exact number the app shows for a lot is authoritative — this page does not restate the calculation.

Stock set aside for a specific build or list. A build hold does not remove the stock from on hand, but it reduces what counts as available in the same way an order reservation does.

A possible match the part-identification scanner returns after a part, minifigure, or set is photographed. Reviewing a candidate is a separate step from confirming it — the operator decides whether it is right.

The plain-text, comma-separated file format used for the set-inventory import file and for Collector Free's own inventory and list exports. The set-inventory CSV uses two columns, set_number and quantity, and each row is checked before anything is added.

One record for a specific part, color, condition, quantity, and storage location. The same part stored in two bins is two lots, not one combined total.

A LEGO minifigure, often shortened to “minifig.” The scanner can return candidates for a minifigure the same way it does for a part or a set.

The parts a specific physical set copy is missing, tracked against that copy rather than its set number in general. Two copies of the same set can end up with different missing pieces.

Stock committed to an accepted order. A reservation reduces what is available while leaving on hand unchanged, and it is released if the order is canceled — a cancellation is not the same event as a physical return.

The ordered set of bin stops generated for an order once its stock is reserved. A pick run follows the recorded bin route and stays open, with the exception visible, if a stop turns up short.

For sellers

Stock a seller chooses to hold back from counting as available, as an operational cushion. A safety reserve is a decision the seller makes, not stock that is missing or unaccounted for.

A set number identifies a catalog entry: the parts and variants associated with a model. A set copy is the actual box, built model, or loose collection on a shelf. Two copies of the same set number can have different conditions, locations, and missing pieces.
