Scanning parts with the camera
How camera recognition works in BrickPulse, powered by Brickognize, so you can add parts without typing catalog numbers.
BrickPulse uses camera recognition (powered by Brickognize) to identify parts, so intake doesn’t mean typing element IDs.
- Open a scanning view (when adding items, parting out, or doing a stocktake).
- Point your camera at the part. BrickPulse identifies it and fills in the catalog details.
- Confirm condition and quantity, and the lot is added.
Tips: good lighting and a plain background improve recognition. Note that images you submit are processed by Brickognize — see the Privacy Policy for details.
