What can I build?
Find the sets and minifigures your loose parts can already make, fully or nearly, and turn them into finished builds.
What Can I Build looks at the loose parts in your inventory and tells you which complete sets and minifigures you already have the pieces for. It’s a great way to turn a pile of parts into higher-value listings.
Open it
Go to Inventory → What Can I Build. At the top, choose whether you’re looking at Sets or Minifigures.
Filter the results
- Buildable only. Items you can complete right now, with nothing missing.
- Almost (≤ N). Near-misses, with an adjustable threshold and a shopping list of exactly which parts you’d need to buy to finish them.
- All (by %). Everything, ranked by how complete it is.
Under Options you can set color matching to Exact color or Any color, and ignore minifigs or stickers so those don’t block an otherwise-complete build. Sort by completion, size, copies, theme, and (for sellers) resale price. Sellers also see an estimated resale value on each result, warmed in the background.
Should you build it? (minifigs)
For minifigures, sellers get a build-vs-parts advisor. Each figure carries a verdict badge: Build it when assembling and selling it whole beats selling the parts, Sell as parts when the loose pieces are worth more, or Close call when they’re near even. The same verdict, with the assembled value and parts value behind it, appears in the buildable-minifig detail modal. Run Price values once to fetch the whole list’s figures so sorting and the advisor work across every candidate, not just the rows you’ve scrolled to.
Build them into a batch
Tick the buildable items you want and choose Build. BrickPulse allocates the required parts and drops the finished sets or minifigs into a single batch you can review and add to your live inventory, the same batch flow you use for any other intake.
Good to know
- Buildability is based on the quantities currently in your inventory, so it updates as you buy, sell, and part out.
- Near-miss shopping lists are per item, so you can decide whether finishing a build is worth the extra parts.
- The feature relies on BrickLink catalog data, which loads in after your first import. If it’s still warming up, check back shortly.
